VIP days lead to much faster results for your business than a traditional project-based or retainer consulting agreement. We’ll be able to cover more ground while we spend a dedicated day together instead of spending several hours working over multiple weeks or months. Plus, each experience is customized to your unique needs and goals to get you the answers necessary to move forward quickly.

  • Wanting to take a deep, intensive dive 1:1 with an experienced, award-winning HR practitioner and consultant who can empower you to solve the problem instead of Googling your way to an answer that may or may not work.
  • Willing to make things happen NOW in your business. You may even be a little impatient in wanting fast results. I work best with driven individuals.

I define small business as any organization with under 500 employees.

What can we work on during your VIP Day?

Your VIP day is custom to you and we can work on an overall strategy or just the areas of workplace culture and employee experience that you want to focus on.

 

We’ll take a critical look at your current culture to identify areas that need revision in order to attract and retain the right people. During your VIP day, we’ll use tools like our Culture Canvas© and E3 Model© to ensure you’re getting the right people and keeping them. You’ll walk away with actionable steps of how to improve upon your existing culture.

We’ll also look at the 7 key employee touchpoints that every employee goes through with your company. We’ll put together your customized Fix My Culture© Guide with action plans and changes that need to be made over the next 30, 60 and 90 days.

 

In addition to the overall strategy pieces, some of our previous clients have wanted to take a deeper dive in certain areas of the employee experience. Your VIP day can include working with you on one to two of those more “in the weeds” topics, too. For example:

  • We can create a strategy on who to hire, when to hire, and hiring best practices. We can talk about the right interview questions to ask to assess power skills and why training your interviewers is key to success in recruitment.
  • We can work on how to manage your team and effectively communicate with them. This may also include strategies for navigating conflict.
  • Maybe you want to revamp the way you do performance management. Employees want regular feedback and the one time a year review is no longer getting it done. We’ll look at how you can transform your existing performance management practices and system to retain employees and provide them the regular feedback they crave. Organizations with excellent performance management see lower turnover, higher retention, increased productivity and engagement.
  • We can take a critical look at your current applicant-facing communications and overall candidate experience to identify ways to attract the right candidates for your organization’s growth. We can also explore ways to attract diverse candidates, identify alternative recruitment sources, and discuss how to better engage with candidates through high-touch strategies.
  • You may also be interested in revising your onboarding process. Once you hire someone, you have a very short window of time to assure new employees they’ve made the right decision in joining your company. We’ll look at your current onboarding practices and suggest ways to streamline the process while maintaining a personalized experience for each new hire.

The VIP Day Process


Every organization is unique. During our kickoff strategy session, I learn more about your distinct challenges and your goals for our VIP experience. We use our proprietary D3 framework to identify where you are now, where you want to be and the gaps that we need to conquer together to get you to an appropriate solution. I work collaboratively with you to solve problems by using industry best practices and 20+ years of experience in HR, consulting, coaching and training.

Here’s what the typical VIP day looks like in four easy steps:


  • 1. We get started with a 30-minute strategy session to clarify and focus on what we’ll accomplish in your VIP experience. We usually schedule this session 1-2 weeks before your VIP day so that we have adequate time to prep everything for the actual VIP day.

  • 2. On the day of your VIP experience, we’ll work together in two sessions via Zoom. We’ll have a kickoff in the morning, then I’ll work most of the day behind-the-scenes putting together a strategy and action plan for you. We’ll meet again via Zoom in the late afternoon to debrief and answer your questions.

  • 3. After your VIP day, you’ll have access to the recordings and any materials or resources we discussed. You’ll also get two weeks of email follow-up for any immediate questions.

  • 4. We’ll check-in on your progress 45-days after your VIP experience with a 30-minute implementation check session. This allows you to ask any additional questions once you’re in the midst of implementing the plan we created.

1-2 weeks before your VIP day: 30-minute strategy session to get clarity and focus on what we’ll accomplish.

 

After the strategy session, we may ask you to send us additional information, including documents, policies, etc. so that we can prepare for you to have the best VIP experience possible.

The day of your VIP experience:

 

Kickoff session:                 9-10 a.m.

 

Work session:                    10 a.m.-3 p.m.

(I will be working behind the scenes on your deliverables based on the goals for the day.)     

 

Debrief session:                 3-4 p.m.

 

The two weeks after your VIP day: unlimited email support

 

45 days after your VIP day: 30-minute implementation check session

This is an investment in your business


Our VIP Days are priced at $6,000.

 

You are welcome to bring up to two additional people from your team to your VIP experience for the same investment. I understand that some of the things we’ll work through may require input from other leaders in your organization and I encourage a team approach because:

  • You are learning together – there is value in collaboration and brainstorming
  • Your team members will buy into your goals and have a better understanding of what it is you want to accomplish
  • These same people will assist you in accomplishling your goals by acting on our implementation plan

After our VIP day, you will have:


  • Clarity and peace of mind on where you’re headed and why. You’ll be reconnected to your workplace culture vision and you’ll know what your next steps are.
  • Your personalized Fix My Culture© Guide with doable, step-by-step plans on what actions to take and when. This will be completely customized to you (no off-the-shelf solutions here!). Depending on the challenge that we work on together, your guide may include resources, checklists, done-for-you templates, etc. so you can get right into achieving big results for your business.
  • A sense of accomplishment and confidence after taking real, dedicated action on a current challenge in your business.
  • 30-day access to recordings of our sessions.
  • Two weeks of email support to answer your questions as you begin implementation of the plan.
  • A scheduled 30-minute follow-up implementation check session 45 days after your VIP Day.

Ready to get started?


I only have 3-4 VIP slots open each month. If you’re reading this at the beginning of the month, there’s a chance you can book your VIP day for the same month, but I’m almost always able to accommodate VIP clients within a 6-8 week timeframe.

What to expect once you book:

 

Step 1: You’ll complete an intake questionnaire to assist me in learning more about you, your business, and what you hope to accomplish during the VIP experience.

 

Step 2: I’ll reach out to ask any additional clarifying questions and schedule your VIP date and your 30-minute strategy session.

 

Step 3: I require that a credit card deposit be submitted and a contract signed to confirm your date. You can pay in full or we can offer a payment plan. The 2nd payment, if applicable, is due no later than two days before our scheduled VIP day.

 

Step 4: Get ready for your VIP experience! I’m so excited to work with you and get you results!
